Atlas Lions of Morocco have qualified for the next round of the ongoing world cup holding in North America
The African representatives secured the edge last night after thrashing Netherlands popularly called the Orange Boys by three goals to two on penalties after a pulsating one all draw at full time
The North African side will now engage co-host Canada on Saturday to determine who qualifies to the quarter final stage of the tournament played after four years
If one could recall the Moroccans were the first ever side from the continent to earn a semi final ticket in the history of the event which started as early as 1930
Africa has nine representatives in the round of thirty two
But already, one of them, the Bafana Bafana of South Africa ,had been sent home after being bundled out by Canada in the first match of the round of thirty two by one goal to nil
