Outrightly, nobody could dispute the fact that water is life as the bulk percentage of the human body is made up of the item
Frankly speaking,for years now the pyramid city and the rest of its surrounding localities have been facing perennial tap water shortage
This situation compelled the well to do across the larger domain to resort to drilling boreholes with a view to lessening the problem
Thus from all indications, the problem is sooner than later becoming a thing of the past
This was as a result of the determination , commitment coupled with zeal of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to put a stop over the nagging situation
On this note, a memorandum of understanding had since been signed with a Chinese conglomerate on the matter and in no distant time the situation will by and large be over
It was based on this development, while speaking in an interaction, the Managing Director of Kano Water Board, Alhaji Garba Bichi gave the assurance that the problem rocking the community for decades will within a short time be over as a machinery in motion had since been put in place calling for popular support and cooperation in that respect to attain the much needed goal
Already,some areas within the outskirts of the metropolis have started seeing the light of the day as their water treatment plants that had been in a state of disrepair for some years now have been refurbished
Definitely, this is wonderful and a dream comes true and a big thank you to Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf for his zeal in the provision of fruits of Democratic governance to the electorate likewise trying to match words with action which is an outstanding attribute of a good leader Sir, keep on the good work
Obviously, as the larger environment await the resumption of supply of the precious commodity in earnest it is the fervent hope of residents within new layouts across the state that the present administration will continue with the pipeline reticulation exercise embarked upon by some previous administrations so as to ensure their full connection with the supply routes in order not to be left behind in the scheme of things
