A 42,member State Planning Committee for the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration has been inaugurated by Kano State Ministry for Rural and Community Development.
The Committee will be headed by the Commissioner Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu with Hajiya Mariya Bello Madaki as secretary.
The overseeing Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu Katchako represented by the Director administration and general services of the ministry Alhaji Abdullahi Yahuza urged the Committee members to make necessary preparation toward the successful celebration.
Alhaji Abdullahi Yahuza also appreciated the turnout of people from various Organisations and agencies as well as security agencies during the inauguration.
The Director Youth and Chairman Nigerian Legion Kano State Council assured members that the Ministry will be ready to give all the necessary support and cooperation for the successful conduct of the upcoming Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration.
