Kano State Government says training and retraining of critical local government Staffers will continue to be its top most priority State Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam stated this while flagging off a two day workshop organized for the newly appointed Director personal management and Treasurers in kaduna.
The Deputy Governor who doubles as the Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs explained that the Director personal management and Treasurers were carefully selected based on their level of expertise and commitment hoping they would not disappoint.
He maintained Kano state government will not relent on it’s efforts to ensure improved welfare for civil servants across the state aimed at boosting their morale.
The Deputy Governor warned that the government will not tolerate laxity absentism and insincerity among other acts capable of downgrading its effort of improving the lives of the citizenry especially at the grassroots level.
The Commissioner further stated that Local Government Management Staffers most operate from local government headquarters as government will soon embark on unscheduled visits to ensure that all workers remain punctual and dedicated in their various areas of assignments.
The theme for the workshop was Budget Book to Reflect the six segments of the chart Account (IPSAS) in Kano state.
