State Assembly is deliberating the establishment of Centre for Disease Control as earlier requested by the Executive arm in a letter it sent.
Part of the content as read by the Speaker Jibril Falgore stated that;when established the centre would promptly address the myriad outbreakof diseases Statewide
Similarly the House had received a report from its Standing Committee on Election matters in respect of screening of a nominee Professor Sani Lawan Malumfashi for appointment as Chairman,Kano State Independent Electoral Commission.
The report which was read by its Majority Leader ,Alhaji Lawan Hussaini Dala, described the nominee as competent and qualified for the job going by his wealth of experience which a wise word described as the best teacher.
The house however back up its recommendation citing Kano State Independent electoral law 2001.
sitting was later adjourned as moved by the majority and seconded by the minority.
