Arrangement is in the pipeline to present Commissioner of Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa with an accolade over his outstanding determination in reviving the state of Education statewide.
The award will be given courtesy of the state wing Of Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools.
The state Chairman of the outfit, Comrade who stated this in an interface said the presentation became necessary so as to propel him over what he has been doing since assuming the headship of the ministry.
Comrade Abdu UsmanYalo pointed out that Governor Abba- Kabir Yusuf first need to be hailed for not only selecting such a resolute and workaholic person to steer the activities of the ministry who has been doing his best with a view to bestowing the much load on his shoulder going by the vastness of the outfit but also the capital amount alloted to the sector which he described as first of its kind.
Comrade Yalo maintained that as the union is committed towards boosting Education hence resolved to encourage him through the unique award so as to keep the flag flying
Comrade Yalo says in his word “as it is no longer a story that Kano has been a centre of learning dating to time immemorial people like Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa need to be extolled and gingered over their giant stride in the field modern ever before he emphasized ”
The Chairman said the occasion will be held at a later date to be announced he however enjoined his lieutenants to continue to offer him the unalloyed backing aimed at taking the state to the next level Comrade Yalo urged journalists to continue to include the effort of the commissioner who he described as silent achiever in their reportage in order to ensure rapid progression in the society
He used the medium to call on fellow teachers in that regard to be supportive and above all cooperative being partners in progress
