Alhaji Shehu Rabiu who could not hide his joy over the development, described the move as a step in the right direction going by how they have been working in a congestive manner.
The Commander used the occasion to thanked the Deputy Governor, Secretary to the state Government and Speaker of the state Legislature over the wise decision.
He used the platform to call on his subordinates to reciprocate the gesture by redoubling effort in observing their voluntary assignment of boosting relative peace being enjoyed in Kano for years not minding what they were collecting as allowances.
On the other hand, he called on the larger public to always feed them with stories that will assist in uncovering hide outs of criminals in their midst.
