Interim chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Council Dr. Mani TSoho has pledged to sustain the tempo in the fight against security threats retarding socio economic progression in the Area.
Dr.Mani Tsoho was speaking at the swearing in ceremony of members of his team encompassing the vice chairman,secretary and councillors held at Gwarzo Islamic centre.
“We are experiencing infiltration of bandits, kidnappers,armed robbers coupled with cattle rustlers due to our proximity to Katsina and Zamfara states hence needs to put hands together to checkmate the situation said Dr.Mani Tsoho
He however promised to support to the fullest all security agencies working in his domain so as to discharge their functions effectively and efficiently,
On his part the the Director Personnel Management of the council, Ubale Magaji congratulated the interim officer and his entourage hoping they would prove doubting thomases wrong
The Director further used the platform to laud Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for selecting people of timbre and candour for the hectic task.
Ubale Magaji vowed to work in tandem with the new grooms for the actualization of current government’s resolves in enhancing the well-being of the general
Speaking the District Head of the Area, Barde Kerarriya Alh.Kabiru Bayero called on the appointee to build upon the success recorded by his predecessors on security and other matters if any with a view to ensuring the ends justify the means
Alh.Kabiru Bayero while felicitating with them also promised the support and cooperation of all the traditional and religious institutions aimed at achieving optimum result
