Emir of Karaye Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar II has amonished people of the Area to prioritize farming aimed at ensuring food availbiiity.
He gave the charge in his Eid El Fitr address at his palace
Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar II posited that it was no longer a story that the chiefdom is blessed with fertile land for farming which if properly utilized can feed the nation and provide job opportunities for teeming youth.
He appealed to public spirited individuals and corporate bodies to support the farming community with implements aimed at meeting set goal as givernment alone due to numerous demands could not please all.
Digressing to harsh economic situation he charged wealthy individuals to imbibe the culture of assisting less previllige in the midst of the society.
Applauding the effort of Kano government led by Abba Kabir Yusuf in ensuring peace and security is sustained statewide , assuring their resolve to complimenting the effort in that respect.
The Monarch praised the delegation under Commissioner of information Comrade Baba Halilu Dantiye for observing the Eid El Fitr in his domain describing the gesture as memorable.
Earlier , the Leader of the team Comrade Baba Halilu Dantiye said Kano State government will remain committed in initiating viable policies and programmes for the betterment of the Wider majority .
Comrade Baba Halilu Dantiye who on behalf of Governor Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf congratulated the Emir and Muslims for witnessing this year’sfestive period and appealed for the reflection of Ramadan lessons in day to day routines.
The Commissioner called on the people to remain prayerful for God guidance and protection of the present administration against all odds
The two Rakaat congressional prayer which was observed by hundreds of Muslims at Karaye Central Eid ground was led by Imam Kabiru Hassan Karaye.
