By and large since Governor Dikko Radda’s came into office in May last year, has been doing the utmost in tackling security challenges retarding the state for long particularly activities of bandits.
The effort of the Governor according to a genuine source has been paying off in view of the number of success the security forces have been gaining across parts of the North western state of recent.
It is based on the development the Governor found it pertinent to present the aforementioned armoured vehicle to them aimed at gingering then in the hectic assignment.
While speaking the state commissioner for Security and Internal Affairs Alhaji Nasiri Mu’azu who expressed delight over the success recorded in the war against the criminals, pointed out that the Cars will be jointly used by the Security forces NSDC and the volunteers in remote areas with a view to flushing the remnants of the bandits.
He explained that the Armoured Personnel Cars which are ten in number are addition to what was earlier presented to them and more in his words are in the offing in that respect.
Alhaji Nasiru Mu’azu added the vehicles will be adequately maintained by experts aimed at ensuring their durability.
He used the medium to thank the forces and other complimentary organisations for their level of gallantry hoping they will keep the flag flying.
It would be recalled Katsina has been one of the states being threatened by bandits and their accomplices for years as over twenty three of its Local Government Areas particularly those within Funtua or Karaduwa zone are battling with such upheaval a situation that added salt to injury going by the present socio economic pains bedevilling the broader society
