Comrade Bahijja Malam Kabara was inaugurated as the Chairperson of Kano wing of National Association of Women in Journalists at a mammoth event held at Press Centre in the metropolis

While speaking a veteran in the field of journalism, Comrade Halima Kamilu called on the new leadership to redouble effort in championing the cause of womenfolk
This she said became necessary in view of the vulnerable position they found themselves
Comrade Halima Kamilu moreover urged the Executives to be accessible to one and all with a view to ensuring Democratic process reign supreme
While speaking, the Managing Director of Radio Kano, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu Rano, who hailed the Comrade Bahijja led team, emjoined the new Executives to live up to expectation as their name is at stake as in his words slot is expected from them

The Executives who would run the office for the next three years comprise Maryam Yakasai secretary Rabi Bature Treasurer
The rest were Hauwa Mustapha Financial Secretary, Halima Yusuf Angulu Vice Chairman, Aisha Yalleman Assistant Secretary and Binta Kabir Usman Auditor
