Kano State Vigilante Outfit has hailed Present administration for the financial assistance rendered to the widow of a recently murdered member of the Group in Tudun Fulani Hamlet of Ungogo Local Government Area Malam Bashir Auwalu
Commander of the Outfit, Alhaji Shehu Muhaammad Rabiu made the thunderous commendation while interacting with newsmen
He described the act of benevolence exhibited which is highly spectacular did not stop there as Governor Abba Kabiru Yusuf pledged to provide the widow a job opportunity in the state civil service so as to cater for children the late vigilante officer left
Alhaji Shehu Muhaammad Rabiu who spoke in a voice touched by grief described the deceased Malam Bashir Auwalu killed couple of months ago while intervening in a dispute between members gangsters in the Area as a serious minded individual who always carried his voluntary assignments with diligence and utmost honesty
Turning to other activities statewide he explained that despite the heavy rain being experienced which criminals usually used as a hide cover to lift shops and break houses, this time around, the ugly act had lessen as a result of the superb effort of his men coupled with the active support of current Government
He added that the office had also succeeded in arresting harden criminals in Doguwa, Samaila, Tsanyawa, Kiru, Tudun Wada Dambatta to mention a few that have specialized in snatching cars, motorcycles and rustling cattle
He pointed out that the suspects who had been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation would soon be arraigned before a court of law so as to reap what they sowed
He appealed for additional support and cooperation from the larger society aimed at attaining set goals and objectives as according to him ensuring a peaceful environment is a collective work
The Commander seized the medium to warn his men against jungle justice as their assignment is to arrest and hand over to police for necessary action not the contrary
