Chairman of Dala Local Council Government, Alhaji Surajo Imam, has reiterated commitment to enhance healthcare services in the area aimed at ensuring a virile and wholesome society
He was speaking while presenting new vaccine refrigerator to the healthcare Department of the council
Alhaji Surajo Imam commended the staffers of the unit for their dedication and commitment in serving the larger community hoping they would keep the flag flying
While highlighting the success achieved in the recent OBR4 polio vaccination campaign.
In recognizing their need for improved service delivery
The chairman vowed to remain steadfast in that direction so as to attain premium objective
Alhaji Surajo Imam explained that the presentation followed a directive received to that effect from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf who always prioritizes the needs and wants of his people first
The chairman used the medium to call on the State Primary Health Care Management Board to upgrade some healthcare facilities in the area through the provision of solar power and additional hospital beds so as to cater for the patients that have been pouring in droves on daily basis
He commended the local council members and his Deputy, Alhaji Abdulaziz Dayyabu Maiturare, for their cooperation in the fight against Polio.
Responding the Head of Primary Healthcare of the council,, Alhaji Lawan Ibrahim Getso, represented by Malam Bello Sani Ahmad, head of immunization unit assured that the refrigerator would be judiciously utilized.for the benefit of the greater majority
He thanked the Chairman for his effort in enhancing the livelihood of the larger environment within a short period of time he assumed duty praying he would guard against distractions and appealed to God to barricade him against open and hidden adversaries
