Social media influencers and Radio advocates referred to as foot soldiers have been urged to unite in defending Kano State Government under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf likewise leader of Kwankwasiyya Movement Engineer Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.to attain set goals
The call was made by NNPP elders during a reception staged for various groups in Dala Area
The outfits encompass: Dala Social Media Association, led by Fatihu Ibrahim Kulkul, represented by Mohammad Inuwa Mohammad.
Association of Former Councillorship Aspirants, under the leadership of Hon. Sabitu Shazali Ali.Kurna Political Awareness Group, presided by Abubakar Uba Isah.
Kwankwasiyya Media Forum, chaired by Jamilu Shehu Bakin Ruwa.and Idaniyar Kwankwasiyya, under Alhaji Rabiu Ibrahim Kabara.
Speaking,a foot soldier Malammahammad Inuwa,said the visit was to congratulate the chairman and express support for his visionary policies and programmes geared towards assisting the larger community.
He expressed the firm believe that the chairman’s efforts would by and large bring succour to the people in view of his seriousness
The entourage however sought for additional collaboration with the Local Council aimed at promoting developmental initiatives .
On his part,. Sabitu Shazali Ali, leader of the Association of Former Councillorship Aspirants, stressed that their purpose was to extend goodwill message to the chairman and pray for his continued success. They moreover vowed to remain steadfast and more determined in propagating the ideals of the council to the wider population
Also speaking Kurna Political Awareness Group, led by Malam Abubakar Uba Isah, expressed their willingness to build a strong relationship with the chairman and explore opportunities for their group to benefit from developmental strides courtesy of the present local administration
Jamilu Shehu Bakin Ruwa, chairman of the Kwankwasiyya Media Forum, noted that their group focuses on advocacy and facts in their effort to serve the greater humanity
He requested for logistic and financial support for their media campaigns and called for constructive feedback on any identified mistakes, as well as guidance in addressing critical issues in their activities.
Alhaji Rabiu Ibrahim Kabara, leader of Idaniyar Kwankwasiyya, highlighted that their organization represents all 44 local government areas and prioritizes on supporting Kwankwasiyya members particularly in protecting them from adversaries both known and unknown
In his response, the Chairman of the Council ,Alhaji Suraj Imam expressed gratitude for the visit and pledged to assist the organizations to the best of his ability
. This he said had since commenced with councillorship aspirants whom he said have been involved in some developmental projects and programmes across the Area
He noted that the aspirants had compiled a list of 38 projects for overall development of the wider community and assured them of continued collaboration to ensure the ends justify the means
