Kano State Government is committed in working hand in hand with relevant stakeholders aimed a DCt reviving the state of Education.
Executive Secretary Kano State Senior Secondary schools Management Board Alhaji Rabiu Saleh Gwarzo stated this while welcoming Leadership of State Wing of Academic Staff Union of Secondary schools on a courtesy visit.
Alhaji Rabiu Saleh expressed delight over the role the Union has been playing in restoring the image of the sector charging them to remain steadfast and committed in that respect.
The Executive Secretary who regretted the. set back the field suffered during the recent past vowed to do the needful with a view to attaining premium objective.
He used the occasion to caution teaching staffers on the need to sit up in observing their duties diligently not minding the amount they are earning as salary as their reward lies in the heaven.
Earlier,the Chairman of the state branch of the Outfit,Comrade Abdul Usman Yalo,said they were in the office on a congratulatory visit over his recent appointment on the position and prayed to God to be his guide.
He described the job as hectic in view of the numerous challenges being faced by the sector in the past but expressed optimism that with the effort, determination , sacrifice commitment, coupled with the zeal of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf towards over hauling the field the problem will soon be a history.
Comrade Abdul Usman Yalo pointed out that the Association will continue to do its best in boosting the wellbeing of fellow members in both cash and kind likewise supplementing present administration’s strive in making the state a shinning example nationwide in teaching and learning.
Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of photocopy machine and office files to the board courtesy of the union.
