The people of Dambatta and Makoda went agog in jubilation considering a ground breaking empowerment initiatives by the incumbent Member representing the twin local government at the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari where he dolled out cash interventions of over forty million naira to the youth in Dambatta and Makoda with a view to engages in small and medium businesses.
Rt Hon Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari further donated Sewing machines,Water pump generators, Laptop computers and grinding machines with a brand new saloon bus to the area office of National Drugs law enforcement Agency, Dambatta Area Office and two golf cars to some outstanding personalities in the twin areas.
Chidari,highlighted that the gesture was aimed at bringing succour to the lives of the constituents which many believed that “is not more than just a normal political intervention but a giant step towards uplifting the lives of his constituents.”
Chidari also stressed that this is just a beginning as more routine empowerments awaits the people of his constituents.
He used the opportunity and show case some remarkable milestones achievements recorded under his stewardship which includes sponsoring students to overseas training, sponsoring Students of both Dambatta and Makoda for higher education training at Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education as well as many for Para medical courses, securing offer of appointments to more that ten youth from the areas at Federal level as well as securing of slots for Military and Police recruitment to the youth of Dambatta and Makoda Local Government Areas all aimed at reducing high rate of unemployment in the areas.
The member further hinted that already road renovations and construction from Jiganda to Dambatta and that of Gawon Bature to Gwanda had already commenced among others.
The program really served as life changing initiatives that poster a sense of political togetherness in the All Progressive Congress which reflects the ultimate goal of the member’s readiness in effective representation as stated by the Party Chairman of All Progressive Congress in Dambatta, Hon Liman Dan Masallaci while commenting on the empowerment initiatives of the Member.
