According to Hon. Abduljabar Garko, Commissioner of Land and Physical Planning said this project is part of the federal government’s initiatives to boost infrastructure development in the State.
In preparation for the project, the Kano State Ministry of Land and Physical Planning has begun demolishing illegal structures on the affected land.
The ministry Director of Administration and General Services, Hamid Sidi Ali led the taskforce, emphasizing the demolition team acted on prior warnings to the affected individuals, who ignored state government notice.
One of the demolished structures was an under-construction company owned by an expatriate, who disregarded the warnings, prompting government action.
The Kano State Ministry of Land and Physical Planning remains committed to safeguarding the state’s development, ensuring no distractions hinder progress. He said
Sidi Ali noted, “the Ministry will continue to guide the new land policy, aligning it with the rapid development unfolding across the state.”
This commitment underscores the government’s focus on infrastructure growth and efficient development.
