Suspended Kano pillars Tactician,Usman Sharif Abdullahi is back on his seat
The former Super Eagles and Enyimba of Aba Gaffer who exited the job temporarily for almost two months now due to internal squabble with a group of fans during the club’s engagement with visiting Bayelsa United at Sani Abacha which ended in a draw will oversee the upcoming tie between Sai Masu Gida and host Heartland of Owerri the Imo State Capital
The Coach has an uphill task before him as the Kano side have not tasted victory for almost four weeks now hence the need to bring an end to the drought
This will certainly bring joy and happiness to the fanbase who have just ended their month long fasting period
On the other hand, their opponents who played two all draw with Sai Masu Gida in the first phase of the leaguebat Sani Abacha Stadium Kofar Mata are also not finding things easy as just of recent they were routed at home by their next door neighbours Abia Warriors of Umuahia in front of their darling fans
Thus the match will dilly dally,be explosive as all the sides are direly in need of the vital points so as to improve their positions on the table
as the league is in its final stages when points according to pundits are too expensive to earn
But as the level of officiating is by and large improving to a large scale , the outcome of the duel will not be questionable or surprising as was the case in the past due to biased handling of matches by centre referees
It is the hope of the ardent supporters of the Pyramid City Boys that Coach Abdullah will prove doubters wrong during the fierce game by at least pulling a draw
