Chairman of Dala Local Government council Surajo Ibrahim Imam says he will not rest in his oars towards boosting the socio economic well-being of the greater majority
Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam was speaking while briefing the information officer of the area on the outcome of their recent security meeting
He pointed out that during the gathering they have made a great iin road on the subject matter and sooner than later they would commence matching words with action aimed at boosting peaceful co existence which he described as the vehicle for economic development
The Chairman posited that as a result of the meeting they resolved to convert a building purchased from an ex councillor of the council to something so meaningful to the overall pdevelopment of the Area
The Council Chairman added that in the cause of the interface a house behind Mambayya House being used to commit also sorts of criminality by miscreant comprising defiling of younger ones raping and taking hard drugs
An outfit by the name Kakaki under Professor Ali Kantudu is urgently in need of the building to be converted to rehabilitation and acquisition centre where the youngsters will be coached on different trades
He contended that submission will be forwarded to the State Governor for his tacit approval
He pointed out that a hide out called Kududdifin Kanzu where men of the underworld used to perpetrate all ungodly deeds like snatching of mobile phones, motorcycles,money and other personal belongings would soon be a thing of the past as the committee had directed the owners to blockade the place aimed at curtailing all indecent acts
Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam added that a building formerly used as an acquisition centre for training women on various trades will henceforth be used as vigilante and NIMSA offices all in the crusade of ensuring peace and tranquility reign supreme in the Area
The Chairman who solicited for the active support and cooperation of one and all to attain set goal, as ensuring peace is a collective responsibility said items comprising torch lights and other accessories that would boost the morale of the voluntary peace outfit will be procured in a way that they will engage with thugs and their accomplices shoulder to shoulder
