Ruling APC zonal meeting in the north east was concluded abruptly in Gombe the Gombe State Capital
The gathering which was attended by National Chairman Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Governors and Ministers from the zone likewise Party faithful was hurriedly brought to a unceremonious conclusion when Dr Ganduje and vice Chairman from zone Mustapha Salisu failed to mention the name of Vice President Kashim Shetima in their separate speeches who is a son of the soil
This enraged bulk of those that attended the gathering hence started raining invective languages and hurling with objects let alone engaging in free for all at the hall
This situation which was coming as we are approaching 2027 did not come as a surprise as just of recent there was speculation making the round that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is trying to scheme out Senator Kashim Shetima from the post for a fresh hand that will be more sellable to the larger environment
Definitely if this happened it would not be strange as far as the game of politics is concerned going by it definition public issues that give rise to conflict
We shall wait and see what would be the next plan of action
