Nigeria’s Basketball Team D Tigers will engage the dreaded Senegalese side in the last eight of Afro Basketball event this Wednesday
The competition which is taking place in southern African country nation of Angola had saw Nigeria side defeating Tunisia , Cameroon Madagascar among others
Nigeria’s lifted the event once in 2015 while their opponents Senagal won the title on five good occasions
Just last month, their female counterparts, DTigress won the women category of the championship in neighbouring West African nation of Ivory Coast by thrashing Mali in the final
Defeating Senegal will surely facilitate their qualification to the final round in view of the strength of their opponents Senagal
Would this year be a period of success for the country in continental events going by how Super Falcons and D Tigress did us proud
