Rabiul Awwal, the third month of Lunar Calendar, devoid of contemplation apprehension, jittery or sceptic,will forever remain fresh in good memories of Muslims both the old and young likewise menfolk and their womenfolk across the universe
Factually for one important reason
the birth of the beloved servant of God the seal of the prophets and messengers of Allah and above all the shining light and the greatest of all time Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him
The Birth of the Prophet to say the least is a special moment in Islamic history as it reminds us of the total crusade by the first crop of the Ummah in ensuring overall transformation across the length and breadth of the larger society a meaningful change from barbaric period when the might was right , adultery ,worshipping idols,and oppression were the order of the day to a composed, systematic well organised civilised and modernized environment which preaches love, understanding, affection friendliness, equality , politeness magnanimity and cohesion courtesy of the receptive administration and unblemished character of the minor but mighty of all messengers and prophets
Wholly and squarely as we celebrate the day which comes once in a moonlight,I will not be mistaken if I draw the attention of the Ummah wherever they are on the need to copy the sterling attributes of the prophet through upholding benevolence , shunning hatred , vindictiveness,witch hunting, blackmailing, mischiefs, and the need to embrace love , mutual trust, friendliness, understanding, tranquility and peace coupled with the need to ensure harmonious co existence reign supreme in a given setting particularly at this material time that prices of almost everything has gone soar due to harsh economic policies
To be certain as the month had set in there is also the need for ceaseless prayers, recitation of the Qur’an and adoration of the good names of the prophet so as to be among the exalted during the last hour and not to forget the dire need to observe things orderly and maturely as the best religion before God is knowingly or unknowingly Islam
