Communities across Zambulawa, kulluwa,Jalabi and Gurjiya in Bunkure Local Government Area, have appreciated the level of seriousness of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project in addressing challenges bedevilling rural inhabitants
The people were speaking in an interaction with Periscope On Line over an going project which link the various localities
They described the feat as wonderful in view of its relevance
The people who spoke through Alhaji Mustapha Barau explained that the over eigth kilometre road under construction likewise the bridge on Guska River have brought relief and happiness to the wider society in view of how it was pretty difficult to convey their farm produced and other essential items to adjacent markets whenever it was rainy season due to the deplorable condition of road and the River
Malam Mustapha Barau described it as excellent hoping the contracting firm will stick to what reached during the signing of the project
He however thanked the team who came directly from Abuja for the event wishing them God speed on their way home
speaking, Engineer Bukar Gana from RAMP National Office charged the contracting company on the need to ensure timely completion of the project
He pointed out that they were not in Kano to apportion blame or accusing fingers on anyone but rather to ascertain the level of progress of the projects and the need for the contractor to redouble effort in ensuring timely delivery
Engineer Bukar Gana maintained that he will be paying periodic visits to the site with a view to rejigging the contractor on the challenge before him
Earlier Engineer Rabiu Madugu Sanka who spoke on behalf of the State Office of the Scheme said the purpose of the tour, was to see things for themselves as a wise statement says seeing is believing and beside that to discuss positively on the arising issues and how best to proffer solutions
He cautioned the contractor on the need to ensure executing durable and qualitative work as the outfit will not condone white elephant project
