There are some elements of rift in the premiership side Barau Football Team
A story we gathered said the misunderstanding got its roots when the proprietor of the outfit Deputy President of the Senate Barau Jibrin added two individuals to the leadership of the Club including Kabiru Baita as vice Chairman and Dominic Iorfa to act as General Manager
This according to the source did not go down well with some of the incumbent executives as they perceived it as a palace coup
Thus, the whole matter catapulted yesterday when it got to the extent that the Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Shitu Chanji and the newly appointed General Manager Dominic Iorfa exchanged vituperation or bitter language in the presence of Shawwal Barau the president of the Club at a meeting convened to mediate the rift bedevilling the newly promoted premiership team
This happened after the new General Manager who said was acting on the directive of the proprietor asked the players one after the other on their contractual agreement
Although there is some speculation that Assistant Coach Rabiu Tata will be replaced with another tactician brought by General Manager Dominic Iorfa the story is not authenticated
Barau Football Club are lying in the bottom of the log of the premiership with two points
