The Kano State chapter of the Nigerian Association of Social Workers (NASoW) has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a housewife and her six children in the Dorayi Chiranchi area of Kano metropolis.
The state chairman of the association, Ibrahim Ammani, described the incident as senseless, barbaric, and completely unacceptable, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss.
According to Ammani, social workers across the state are heartbroken by the gruesome murder of a mother and her six innocent children.
“This senseless violence against innocent Nigerians is unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest terms,” he said.
In a statement released on Monday, the NASoW chairman extended the association’s condolences to the bereaved family and the affected community, noting that the tragedy has plunged residents and social workers into deep shock and mourning.
He commended the Kano State Police Command for its swift response and efforts in arresting the suspected perpetrators of the heinous crime.
Ammani also urged the judiciary to ensure that justice is served to bring closure to the victims’ family and to deter future acts of violence.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving family and the entire community during this painful time,” he added.
