Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an.
It is not by coincidence that fasting and revelation meet in the same month.
Allah says:
*شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ*
_“The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur’an was revealed — a guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.”_
(Al-Baqarah 2:185)
The Prophet ﷺ would review the Qur’an with Jibrīl every Ramadan.

If you fast but neglect the Qur’an,
you have missed the spirit of Ramadan.
Recite it.
Reflect on it.
Live by it.
Ramadan and the Qur’an belong together!
