*ZAKATUL-FITR*
Before the end of Ramadan, every Muslim who is able should give Zakat al-Fitr.
It purifies the fasting person and supports the needy on the day of Eid al-Fitr.
Abdullah ibn Umar RadhiaAllahu Anhuma reported:
โThe Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ made Zakat al-Fitr obligatory: one sฤสฟ of dates or one sฤสฟ of barley upon every Muslim โ slave and free, male and female, young and old.โ
โ Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim
It should be given before the Eid prayer.
Let the poor share in the joy of Eid.
