Money spinning African Champions League equivalent of European Champions League is in the semi final stage
The four semi finalists comprise two South African sides and two from Egypt
Namely, Mighty Ahli National of Cairo and Pyramids
The other clubs from South Africa were Orlando Pirates and Memolodi Sundown
In the pairing made by CAF office in Cairo Memelodi Sundown will battle it out with traditional winners Ahli from Egypt
The other fixture will see Pyramids also from the Arab nation testing the might of former champions Orlando Pirates from the Rainbow country
The development is really a challenge for our teams as since Enyimba lifted the trophy in a row in the early two thousand, they have not put a strong fight in the competition which could have fetched them millions of Naira
It is the hope of football lovers both far and wide countrywide that things will change for good sooner than later
Without much ado , the dream of seeing our teams scaling through to the final stages of CAF organised competitions as is was the case in the past will pretty much be practical with utmost seriousness and total commitment in that respect from teams owners and authority concerned despite the fact that football is a game of uncertainty
