I would like to use this medium to call on the state unit of Nuj to intervene in the on going feud between state sports writers body on one hand and the technical crew of Kano Pillars on the other.
To be honest this rift should not be allowed to continue as both outfits are friends of the same family hence the need for the support and understanding of each other with a view to achieve set goals and objectives.
Thus folding our arms to allow the issue to go like that without taking reasonable action aimed at overcoming it will amount to total affront and by and large injustice to our noble profession.
At this juncture, I would like to call on Comrade Abbas Ibrahim and his team to use their dignified positions with a view to mediating the two warring factions.
Certainly, reconciling the duo will be a laudable step that will be welcomed by all and sundry as sports and media are conjoined twins that will not be separated.
To this extent, the misunderstanding that ensued which let to total boycot of all activities of Kano pillars Football Club by the Association should be laid to rest in the interest of fairness, justice and above all equality.
Thus it becomes necessary for Coach Abdul Maikaba and the affected SWAN exco members to exercise restraint over the unfortunate incident as their is no way a human beings could not make error as we are all imperfect.
Knowing or unknowingly united we stand and divided we fall So long
