We earnestly call on the Kano State Government to urgently look into the persistent problems affecting the Tamburawa Clarifier Water Works.
For over six months now, many communities at the tail end of the water supply network — including Gyadi-Gyadi, Hausawa, Tudun Maliki, and surrounding areas — have been completely cut off from clean, treated water.
This prolonged disruption has brought untold hardship, forcing residents to rely on unsafe and unreliable sources of water, with serious implications for public health.
We humbly urge the government to consider our plight and take swift, decisive action to restore water supply to these areas. Access to clean water is not a privilege — it is a basic right and a critical component of healthy, dignified living.
Please act now.
