Kano State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Barrister Haruna Isah Dederi says the ruling by Appeal Court on Kano Emirship dispute involving Kalipha Muhammad Sanusi ll and Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has exonerated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of any misdoing on the power struggle
The legal luminary made the pronouncement while addressing journalists at an interface held in the metropolitan
He lauded the court over nullifying the earlier judgement by a lower court on the matter which he said blossom the image and recognition of the judiciary in the face of one and all
He pointed out that beside validating the appointment and removal of the new Emir and his predecessor it also gave pass mark over the decision by Kano State Legislature on the former monarch and dissolution of some Emirates created during previous administration in the state
He used the medium to call on parties quarrelling on the matter to sheath their swords in the interest of peace, understanding,fairness and above all mutual trust
The Commissioner urged those whether Kano indigenes in name or otherwise brewing the feud in the traditional institution to allow harmonious co existence to reign supreme as Kano according to him always set the pace while others follow
The legal luminary maintained that Kano State Government will remain committed in working closely with traditional authorities aimed at attaining spelt out goals
