Kano Deputy Governor has cautioned Protem Chairmen against staying away from their duty posts.
Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, however directed them on the need to reside or relocate to their designated LGAs.
Gwarzo iwas speaking while receiving defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) who pitched tent with the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) from Shanono at Government House.
The Deputy Governor’s ,underscored the importance of hanging around with a view to guard against unforeseen circumstances being the chief Security Officers of their respective councils.
He admonished them to initiate impactful projects in crucial sectors like healthcare, education, and water access aimed at ensuring the electorate sip from the fruit of Democracy.
He added that being number one citizens of their respective areas they should endeavour to uphold the culture of staying in the midst of the society in order to ensure accessibility.
Comrade Gwarzo maintained that he will henceforth commence unscheduled visits to the various LGAs to asses compliance, sacrifice and dedication of the Chairmen to their assigned duties.
Despite the directive, the Deputy Governor reassured the public of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment to implementing programs that will benefit all.
He urgied for continued public support so as to attain the administration’s vision of progress and prosperity.
