The Babangida Charity Foundation, a community non-profit organisation has disbursed a non-interest revolving loan to some farmers at Romi community in Dawakin Tofa Local Government in Kano State.
During the event ₦30,000 was disbursed to the 16 farmers carefully selected to support their farming.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman of the Foundation, Malam Isa Adamu Abdullahi and his vice, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida reiterated the commitment of the Foundation toward supporting the needy and other people within and outside the community. They called on the beneficiaries to use the money judiciously and refund at the scheduled time. This programme is one of the major initiatives of the Foundation.
On his part, Malam Hashimu Dabo, one of the beneficiaries thanked the Foundation on this gigantic initiative and promised to repay the loan at when due.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Foundation and other important dignitaries in the community.
