Things have been favourable to Los Blancos better known as Real Madrid this soccer season as they have been facing disaster upon disaster just some few days ago Arsenal of London eliminated the side from the money spinning Champions League and tonight the Catalonians talking about Barcelona took their turn as they added their tale of woes by walloping them three goals to two in the final of this year’s Copa del Rey
The final which was played in Seville and watched by hundreds of soccer lovers from far and wide, saw the team from Barcelona scoring the first goal through Pedri in the first half
At resumption of play in the second half, Kylian Mbappe who came as a substitute even scores while Tchoumeni increased the tally to make it two one
Later on Ferran Torres equalised to make the game two all up to the end of ninety minutes regulation time
The match was then extended to thirty minutes extra time as a winner did not emerge
It was at the tail end of the second phase of the extra time when everybody was expecting the encounter will be decided through penalties Kounde increased the tally to make the scores three two against the Madrid side
Thus ,with this victory, Barcelona have defeated Madrid on a record 103 time while Madrid humiliated the Catalonians on 105 occasion
Definitely football as Pundits say is a mixture of sweet and bitterness as no condition is permanent
