Philanthropist and prominent International business tycoon, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata has donated twenty million naira to Dala Local Government Council.
The affluent ,announced the presentation when the Council Chairman, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam led his Council members on a courtesy visit to the Elder Statesman at his Koki residence in Kano City.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata reaffirmed his commitment to community service and appreciated the delegation for the call and prayed for the success of the administration.
He also admonished them on God fearing in discharging their duties.
Earlier, the Council Chairman, Alhaji Surajo Imam thanked Alh Aminu Dantata for his tirelessness financial support to the Council and fatherly advice and level of encouragement he has been rendering to them hoping God will reward him abundantly The Executive officer who emphasized the importance of selfless service to the people enjoined other wealthy individuals to copy from him
Alh Surajo Ibrahim Imam whose visit coincides with his one month in office as elected Council Chairman, extolled the role the key figure played towards the creation of the Local Government
He described him as business Magnate with global figure and influential stance.
During the visit, Alh Surajo Imam highlights the pressing needs facing the local council particularly in health sub sector and solicited the need for the provision of equipment comprising Hepatitis screening machine, Mosquito spraying kits and digital blood sampling items for pregnant women.
The Chairman was accompanied during by his Deputy, Alhaji Abdulaziz Dayyabu Maiturare the Director of Administration, Hajiya Binta Abdullahi, the Council Secretary,Hon Sharif mannir sharif Bawa Departmental Heads, and other top functionaries
