All roads lead to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea confront league leaders Arsenal as the premiership enters week thirteen
The match is expected to be explosive going by the position the two sides occupies in the lucrative competition
All the teams are surely in need of the points as it would blossom their chances of lifting the giant trophy
Rightly speaking for years now Arsenal have come nearly to grabbing the event only to miss it narrowly to Manchester City
But from all indications this year is exceptional going by the fact that they are in the best form of their life ever
Thus I will not be faulted if I say they are as good as winning all the available trophies in both domestic and continental soccer competition in view of their star studded team
But as football is not arithmetic anything can happen as a wise word says it is not over until it is over
Certainly Chelsea are surprised pullers if one could recall how they tore PSG into pieces during the final of the world club championship and just last Tuesday humiliated Barcelona of Spain three nothing in champions league although one may say Arsenal also fumbled mighty Bayern Munich by three goals to one that is football the unpredictable game
We shall wait and see what will be the outcome as it is another London Derby
Just last week the Gunners pounded their next door neighbours Tottenham Hotspur fondly called Lilly White by four goals to one
During their past engagements Arsenal won on 84 occasion while Chelsea 66 time
In other games,
inconsistent Manchester United will battle it out with Crystal Palace at Selhurst park in London in an early kick off by one o’clock in the afternoon
A win for the home side will improve their stand on the log while on the other hand a loss for the visitors will pile pressure on coach Reuben Amorim who last week failed to beat ten man Everton at home in the premier league
