Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II has suspended the Imam and Deputy Imam of Unguwar Durogun Friday Mosque of Dutsen Danbaƙoshi village in Shanono local government area with immediate effect.
This followed series of complain of misconduct against the Imam by worshippers and those donating towards the development of the mosque.
Subsequently, the Emir directed the District Head of Shanono Sarkin Shanun Karaye Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Gaya to assign a capable person who will take over from him , pending the out come of the investigation placed on him
In another development, the Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II has condoled with families of seven people that died in a ghastly accidence last week
The people who are from Karaye and Yola towns of Karaye local government area were on their way to Warri Delta State South South Nigeria when the incidence occurred.
The Monarch prayed for the repose of the souls of those that died and quick recovery to those who sustained various degrees ofinjuries
