Kano State Health Trust Fund has extended its intervention to the College of Health Sciences and Technology with funds to purchase office equipment
The outfit was established to accord support on healthcare facilities and health institutions.
Thus in its quest to secure befitting working environment for its staff,, the College requested the KHETFUND to support it with funds with a view to attaining set goal for the smooth running of its daily activities
Thus based on this the outfit handsomely replied the plea with a huge amount of N4,497,900 after the approved Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Speaking,While inspecting the items,the secretary of the Agency, Zaharaddeen Fatima charged management of the College to make sure the equipment procured are utilised accordingly
She stressed that KHETFUND was established to provide additional financial support to health facilities and health educational institutions on meaningful projects and programmes for the betterment of lives of people statewide.
Dr. Fatima seized the opportunity to eulogize Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his passion to uplifting the standard of healthcare system, asserting that the commitment put in place steadily is yielding superb and heartwarming result as the transformation is explicitly being seeing in the state.
She also commended the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf for his continued professional guidance, advise and support to the outfit
Speaking while receiving the team, the Deputy Provost of the College, Comrade Garba Haruna Abubakar thanked the Secretary and her management team for the role they played in that regard and promised to use the items judiciously.
The item include laptop/ desktop computers, generating set, printers, file cabinets, power stabilizers and host of others
