Chairman of Dala Local Government Council , Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, has congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of the six and half decades of sovereign administration
In his goodwill message, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam described the day as a historic moment for both country men and women
. He described self rule as a symbol of dedication , commitment sacrifices and struggles made by past leaders, who worked with utmost unity, love, and passion to ensure the freedom and progress of the nation. from the shackles of colonialists
Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, commended him for his visionary leadership, developmental projects, and people-centred policies that would continue to drive progress across Kano State and Nigeria at large.
The Chairman likewise sent a similar message to Emir of Kano Khalipha Muhammad Sunusi the second over the memorable occasion
He further assured that the people of Dala Local Government will continue to benefit from the government’s initiatives, particularly in the areas of basic education, healthcare delivery, and youth empowerment through support programs that would promote self-reliance and productivity.
The chairman hence called on all citizens to embrace peace and unity, emphasizing that sustainable development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of harmonious co existence, Concord and understanding.
