Chairman of Dala Local Government Council ,Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, says Kano State Government has approved the expending of forty million naira for the rehabilitation of gutters in Madigawa Ward of the Area
Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam was speaking when he visited ‘Yan Dagi and Madigawa to inspect the on going project, which will be extended to Yalwa locality .
Alhaji Surajo Imam commended the contractor handling the project over executing superb work hoping he will keep the flag flying
He however appreciated the effort of NNPP spokesperson, of the Area who he said played a key role in ensuring the project reached the people of Madigawa and it’s vicinity
During the tour, the chairman heard a series of complaints from residents assuring to compile report on the subject matter for onward submission to the Ministry of Local Government Affairs for review, aimed at ensuring the project meet the needs of the larger community.
He moreover urged residents to take proper care of the work from its commencement emphasizing that more infrastructural projects are in the pipeline in view of the position of the Area as a stronghold of the ruling party in Kano
The Chief Executive prayed for the success of Kano State Government in its total commitment to delivering impactful projects for the benefit of the wider people.
In his remarks, the NNPP spokesperson in Dala, Alhaji Muktari Sanka, described the event as historic going by how they have been yearning for the project over the past 18 years until Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam came on board
The mouthpiece of the party who was filled with gratitude,also thumbed up People’s Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf over the level of his tenacity and sacrifice in that respect and also extended similar plaudits to the contractor over the quality of the work
The chairman was accompanied by his deputy, Alhaji Abdulaziz Maiturare the head of the works department and other council’s top functionaries .
