Kano State Commissioner of Information, Baba Halilu Dantiye, has charged Information officers wherever they are to foster synergy with a view to ensuring the ends justify the means
Dantiye emphasized the importance of collaboration to enhance the propagation of government activities and programs, highlighting the need for information officers to work closely during scheduled events in their respective areas.
Commending the dedication of information officers, Dantiye outlined the purpose of the meeting aimed at reminding them of their mandate to inform the public about government activities and alert the government on any situations requiring urgent intervention for the well-being of the people.
Additionally, he announced the Ministry’s commitment to revive Kano State Today magazine, weekly bulletins, and radio/TV magazine programmes (“Jahar Kano A Yau”), pledging increased support and provision of working materials for them to enhance service delivery.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, of the ministry Hajiya Hafsat Iliyasu Aliyu charged them to redouble effort in publicizing projects and programmes of the state government.
She stated that the Ministry will be organizing this kind of meeting with the aim of how best they are discharging their duties
