This was made by Alhaji Sulaiman Yakubu, National President of Gan Allah,an umbrella Funani Organization in Nigeria which is working for the betterment of Fulani and harmonious coexistance between Fulani and host communities in the Nation
The National President said the association is seriously engaged in massive sensitizations and advocacy with host communities where Fulani Herders are rearing their Animals with a view to have mutual understanding and a conducive atmosphere for peaceful coexistence.
Alhaji Sulaiman Yakubu further stated that a series of Advocacies and Programmes has been staged at different media outlets with a view to influence and change the narratives for understanding and for peace to reign.
The National President expressed gratitude to the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his consistent interventions in maintaining peaceful understanding between Fulani and farmers across the Federation thereby assuring the President of Gan Allah total support.
He equally thanks States and Local government Areas who established Farmers Herders Committees to fashioned out strategies strengthen waya of peaceful understanding and harmonious relations between farmers and Herders, a move which he described as well come development.
Alhaji Sulaiman Yakubu called on both Farmers and Fulani to always embrace dialogue and consultations as best option for sustainable development rather that violence and confrontations which he said would never pave way for mutual understanding.
The National President equally reiterated the commitments of the Gan Allah Association in mobilization and advocacy across the States of the Federation, highlighting that peace is the only gateway for sustained living.
