Kano State Commissioner of Education Alh. Umar Haruna Doguwa has expressed shock over the death of Salisu Idris Director Partnership of the Ministry of Education who died on Saturday Night after a brief illness.
In a condolence message shortly after the Funeral Prayer Umar Doguwa described the deceased as honest and hard-working who contributed immensely towards the development of the education sector.
” Salisu Idris was very committed and obedient whose good performance in this ministry especially at his capacity of Director Partnership will continue to be remembered.
” The death of Salisu Idris was a great loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire state as someone who spent the whole of his life contributing to the growth of education system ” Doguwa stated.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannah Firdausi and gives his household and, friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Aged 56 Salisu Idris a graduate of Bayero University Kano , has been on the present position of Director Partnership of the outfit for the last four years.
He left behind three wives many children and relatives
The funeral prayer took place at his residence of tsohuwar Dakata Quarters in Nasarawa LGA.
