Interim Management Officer of Madobi Local Government Area Alhaji Auwalu Malami has emphasized the crucial role of education in societal development.
Alhaji Auwalu Malami echoed remarks while flagging off the distribution of teaching and learning materials to primary and junior secondary schools, in the area held at the local Government Education Authority office.
He said the visionary demonstrates Kano State government’s commitment towards ensuring a learned community aimed at producing useful and responsible younger generations
On his Part, the Education Secretary of the area Comrade Alasan Adamu who was represented by Malam Magaji S Kasuwa Said the initiative was meant for Primary schools and Junior Secondary Schools pupils
Comrade Alasan Adamu urged Head teachers in the area to ensure judicious distribution of the items provided.
The items comprise: Five thousand four hundred and fifty three cartoons of chalks, 5,453. Three thousand 3000 Attendance Registers, Two Hundred New National anthem pamphlets, One thousand one hundred and forty 60 leaves Exercise books 1440. Calendars among others.
Receiving the materials , The head teacher of Burji Model Primary school Malam Abdulrashid Lele and his colleague of Nomadic Primary School Malam Yusha’u Yunusa Gora promised to make the best use of the items .
In another development, the provisional officer Alhaji Auwalu Malami had presided over security meeting with all relevant stake holders in the area in his office.
The gathering was aimed at assessing the current security situation in the area and identify areas of concern as well as to develop a blue print to address the challenges once and for all
