Dissatisfied with the position of things in their beloved Pyramid City Side Pillars some Fans have agitated for the firing of the Leadership
The provoked supporters who were speaking in an interview with members of the press said this became necessary if the team is to revive its lost glory
They attributed the woeful performance of the club during the just concluded premiership which the club by whiskers to incompetence on the part of the top hierarchy
They added that unless something meaningful was done the situation will continue unabated and the teeming will be left biting their fingers
They cited some weeks before the end of the premiership how an official of the club persuaded a teenager to attack a match referee which almost caused the club the game against Rivers United
But luckily enough they escaped with a fine and three matches ban two of which will be concluded when the new season commences
The angry fans moreover decried how on most occasions the management failed to seek the advice of the fan base and other stakeholders on how best the team will be run but do things dictatorially a situation they said cheated the team on most occasions
Another complaint was the failure to engage established players but rather rookies which they said caused Pillars many matches but at home and away venues
They argued that their demand was not out of envy , jealousy or grudge as some people may think but rather to save the Kano darling team from shambles
The Supporters appealed to the Governor when their call is granted to appoint a capable hand on the affairs that is a person that knows the nuts and bolts of the round leather game not a novice to prevent recurrence
They maintained that Pillars is a household name in the country hence its good name should be dignified , quantified and be protected for the sake of the people of the state and upcoming generations
