Kano State Permanent Secretary at Servicon Directorate, Mal Danasabe Yahaya, today gave out his daughter Hafsat Dan’asabe Yahaya in marriage to her heartthrob Sulaiman Tahir.
The wedding was sealed in an impressive process by the lmam of Mallam Hadi Gwani Mosque of Yakasai Qtrs in Kano municipality upon payment of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000:00k) cash as dowry.
The exciting event was graced by the “crème de la creme” in society, including the former Kano State Deputy Governor Prof Hafizu Abubakar, Head of Kano State Civil Service Alh Abdullahi Musa and a host of senior government staff serving and retired.
The presence of large numbers of top government functionaries, Permanent Secretaries, Directors, heads of parastatals and organizations from the State core have made the place agog and added glamour to the occasion.
The occasion also witnessed the crowd of who-is-who, a reunion of old colleagues, particularly from the State Ministry of lnformation and other journalists from the media realm, friends and well wishers from various destinations.
Mal Dan’asabe Yahaya, the bride’s father, expressed his appreciation to all who attended the occasion as well as those who offered prayers for Allah’s blessings on marriage. “We sincerely thank you for attending our daughter and son’s wedding. Your presence meant so much to us”. He added.
At this point and on behalf of colleagues, particularly in the fourth estate career, we once again joined all the well wishers in congratulating the wedded family on this significant occasion.
