The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has sensitize general public against overloading of trailers with animals, goods and passengers to enhance road safety, prevent avoidable crashes.
The State FRSC Sector Commander, Masa’udu Matazu disclosed this in a statement issued by the Command Public Relations Officer, (PRO) Abdullahi Labaran on Friday in Kano.
He said drivers, transport operators need to adhere strict compliance with safety regulations.
According to the statement “FRSC will not tolerate violations of traffic laws, especially those that endanger lives.
“We will always continue to promote road safety awareness and strict enforcement to prevent further tragedies”,he said.
Matazu urged road users to cooperate with authorities and adopt safe transportation practices for the collective well-being of all.
