Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the families of those who tragically lost their lives in a motor accident in Kura Town on Tuesday.
This devastating incident and two others in the neighboring Imawa Town recently, were indeed sad occurrences that left the entire state in mourning.
Governor Abba Kabir therefore joins the bereaved families, Kura and Imawa communities in their grief and extends deepest sympathies to all who have been affected by these tragic incidents.
He also called on drivers, especially those plying the busy Kano-Zaria highway, to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations at all times as the safety of everyone on the road is paramount. He specifically urged all drivers to take extra precautions, avoid speeding, and follow safety guidelines to prevent such heartbreaking accidents in the future.
Governor Yusuf also assured the commitment of his administration to take appropriate measures to forestall future occurrence of such tragic accidents and continue to work closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure that our roads are safe for all at all times.
