As Kano State joins Nigeria to celebrate Democracy Day today, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Women, Children and the Disabled, Hajiya Aisha Lawan Saji Rano, has urged the Federal Government to shun political differences and officially recognize Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as a personification of the National Human Symbol of Democracy.

In a press release made available to news men this morning, Honourable Saji said, “considering the political intrigues and the election tribunal drama that trailed the 2023 gubernatorial elections in Kano, and eventual victory to Alhaji Abba, Governor Abba is the person ordained to be the true human symbol of democracy by the divine intervention of God”.
Recalling the electoral and legal puzzles in question, Hajiya Aisha stressed that, “in all, is a divine intervention that stands out Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as a true democrat who fought through the thick and thin of democracy to actualize the people’s wish and the eventual victory of democracy”.

She also explained that, Governor Yusuf has so far proven to be a true democrat in the way he has been able to carry everyone along in Kano State, regardless of political inclination.
The Honourable Commissioner who used the occasion of the June 12th to wish Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf a happy Democracy Day, also prayed for the actualization of the 4+4 political ambition.
