The Head of Service, Kano State, Hajiya Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, has expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for His countless blessings, guidance, and mercy upon her life.
In a statement issued following her appointment, Hajiya Bilkisu conveyed her sincere appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the confidence reposed in her to serve as the Head of Service. She described the appointment as both a great honour and a call to higher responsibility in service to the state.
“I am deeply grateful to Almighty Allah for this opportunity and for His continuous blessings. I also wish to express my profound appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for finding me worthy to serve in this capacity,” she stated.
The Head of Service also extended her appreciation to well-wishers, stakeholders, and the people of Kano State for their overwhelming support, prayers, and encouragement.
Hajiya Bilkisu assured of her commitment to upholding the principles of transparency, dedication, and professionalism within the Kano State Civil Service. She emphasized her resolve to work collaboratively to enhance service delivery and contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.
She further called on civil servants and the general public to continue supporting government policies and programmes aimed at improving citizens’ welfare and strengthening the public service.
